I took my new phone out for a walk and took some pictures of the neighbourhood to see how the camera held up. Here they are:

Brooklyn got a wee bit of snow over the holidays. Here's some snow on a used Christmas tree.

I went for a walk in Brooklyn Bridge park and took a few photos and I liked this one, but that's mostly because I like macro photography.

I took this with the camera on the phone I got at PDC and I'm pretty impressed with the result. It looks pretty dramatic... though, the subject helps a lot in that respect ;)

DST and double takes

First Day of DST

I woke up this morning and discovered that my computer clock was no longer synchronized with the rest of the clocks in my apartment. Apparently, the DST change-over was this weekend and we are officially on Summer Time. There is at least a foot of snow on the cars in the parking lot outside my apartment and about three feet on the ground and I haven't actually seen the sun in days. WTF!?!
